I may be interviewing Nigel Sinclair, producer of Amazing Journey and No Direction Home, next week.
Short notice, I know, but please do post questions you'd like me to put to Nigel on your behalf.

Thanks Rob...
Hi Nigel...
How much money would it have cost to make London Coliseum 69 look better than it does? It is a shame, imo, that the film was not restored to a quality such as the work that was done for TKAA, and it's also unfortunate that the audio, if you listen on headphones, is actually unbalanced (it's great it was released and made available as in the end that is what's most important to us Who fans).
Nice job with Kilburn. Thanks too to Roger and everyone involved in the 1964 High Numbers footage.
What is next on the agenda for Who films, and any thoughts about the prosepct of filming the band in Imax 3D for any of their shows on the upcoming tour? Will we see a concert film from the recently completed Roger Daltrey tour?
Also, most importantly, what about acquiring and releasing the kinds of historic concert film fans would gladly give their money to see, film that either the band already owns, that other broadcasting companies own, or film privately held - such as footage from Who concerts in 1971, 1973, or any time during the Keith Moon years? When will we see Tanglewood 1970? What about Charlton 1974, and in stereo?
Thanks.
Derrick
P.S. I hope these questions are asked, whether taken from this post or another, and that there are more questions posted, and more importantly, that the fans maybe get some more answers (and the kinds of answers we want to hear ).

Hi Nigel,
How is to work with the reformed Hammer Films? They made the most fantastic Horror films of the 1950's and 60's. Did you meet with Christopher Lee during recent filming?
In addition, is Spitfire thinking on any additional concert film releases from The Who?

Thank you so much for doing this, Nigel, and Rob.
1. There is the film project that Roger has tried to get done. Keith Moon Film. Roger once said he is still trying to get a script. What's happening with that?
2. You produced a few Japanese films.
The Japanese director Itami was slashed in the face with a razor by three gangsters after the release of Minbo.
What was your frist reaction to his script for Minbo? Have you ever met Mr. Itami in person? He committed suicide in 90s.
3. Do you feel any more or less encouraged by the state of the film industry than you did when you started out?

How do you decide what stays in and what doesn't re: the final product?

Happy holidays to you and every Who fan!
Although I enjoyed "Amazing Journey" it left me wanting to ask some questions:
1.Is there any live video/film footage of the Who (with the exception of Rock and Roll Circus) with sound from 1968? It is hard to fathom that there is no such footage! I can ask the same about 1971 and 1972 footage as well.
2.I noticed during the special segment for Keith that Pete was not interviewed. Did he decline? Or, did someone not ask him? I imagine it is very difficult for Pete because Keith was a friend and I imagine it would be difficult for him to talk about someone whose life slowly deteriorated.
3.There is footage of the band at Tanglewood-which is one hell of show! Who owns the rights to this? Was there any effort to put this in the film or use it as part of the added DVD shows like the Coliseum?
4.Lastly, are there any plans for another documentary of The Who similar to "Amazing Journey" but with more live footage and/or TV segments?
Thank you again! Cheers everyone!

Forgive me for not being able to get my info together to make this quick. My question to Nigel is this? Are you going to do more releases for The Who? If so what is next and/or more importantly any comments to these performances I would love to see in its entirety that between "amazing Journey", "The Kids Are Alright" and the '30 years DVD have shown.
The Richmond Jazz Festival 1965
Woodstock
Isn't Tanglewood the performance where the show was deemed too dark in the footage to be considered unwatchable?
Last but not lest the complete performance of the Toronto show 1982.
Thanks for the good work

Thank you very much for the restoration of the High Numbers performance - brilliant! Any idea if footage exists of The Who on the Murray the K show from 1967?
I was astounded by some of the teases in Amazing Journey and would love to see more full performances. For instance, I thought The Who sounded like 'punk before punk' as Roger walked off stage during a Scandinavian gig. Love that stuff.
